This program will be a discussion as to why the Air Force insists on divesting the A-10 and what makes the A-10 such a formidable presence on the battle field.
Biography - Cliff Bowman
Cliff Bowman is the Lead A-10 Pilot Instructor with BGI-LLC at Davis-Monthan AFB. He is charged with overseeing and effecting academic and simulator instruction for A-10 pilots in formal training. Cliff Bowman retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2010 at the time serving as the Commander of the 357th Fighter Squadron. Cliff has over 3,500 hours of flight time primarily in the A-10 Warthog. In the A-10 he was qualified as an Instructor Pilot, an Evaluator Pilot, a Combat Search and Rescue Sandy 1, and a Forward Air Controller. Cliff has over 500 combat hours in Afghanistan and Iraq.
