The Rotary International Centennial Challenge:
Fulfill a clearly identifiable community need.
Provide a solution that has measurable results;
Involve the active participation of Rotarians, rather than
       simply providing funding to another organization;
Create a project in which the Rotary Club of Tucson would
       have a continuing role and identity.
The Rotary Club of Tucson Mission:
To create, build and support the
Rotary Literacy Resource Center
in Pima County, Arizona, USA

aka The Reading Seed
Children's Literacy Program
Facilities are being provided at no cost by Southern Arizona's
The Vision

All children in Pima County will read at or above grade level by the end of third grade. Age appropriate reading material will be available to all children in Pima County who are not yet reading at grade level. The Solution

recruit volunteers from throughout the county to read to at-risk children
