Kimberly Ely, Patronato San Xavier’s Development Director, will discuss Patronato’s role as the non-sectarian, non-denominational non-profit charged with raising and directing funding to conserve the fragile art and architecture of Mission San Xavier del Bac, one of the most culturally significant at-risk sites in the world.
 
Kimberly Ely ~ Biography
 
Kimberly joined Patronato San Xavier in July 2018 as Patronato’s first Development Director having formerly held the position of Vice President of Development for the Tucson Symphony.
 
Prior to arriving in Tucson in 2016, she spent 20 years in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served as Vice President of Development for the historic Cheekwood Estate & Gardens and raised funds for the Frist Art Museum.
 
Kimberly is passionate about art, architecture and historic preservation and calls her position with the Patronato her dream job. Her professional experience includes 17 years of nonprofit fundraising, as well as financial services marketing in Latin America and Europe.
 
She received her International MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and her BA in Foreign Languages and Art History from Southern Methodist University.
 
Kimberly was an active Rotarian in Nashville and she is a former member of this Club.
