Singing sensation Crystal Stark takes the stage in a concert devoted to celebrating American legend Ella Fitzgerald. Joined by Khris Dodge, Crystal will scat, swing, and serenade you to your heart’s delight.  Crystal has been praised for her “style and attention to detail that truly bring the greatness of Ella Fitzgerald to life”.
 
Crystal Stark ~ Biography
 
Just off of her premiere performances on the Celebrity Edge Cruise Ship, with the Divas3 from Las Vegas, Crystal Stark is a powerhouse vocalist with national credentials. She doesn’t just take the stage – she owns it.

 
The international performer and American Idol semi-finalist got her start singing in her home town of Tucson, Arizona. Her early teachers included famed soprano Faye Robinson and jazz legend Jeff Haskell. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in Music Education, she auditioned for Season 5 of the cultural phenomenon American Idol – along with 100,000 other contestants. She made it to the semi-final round, and then after the competition forged a close friendship with season runner-up Katharine McPhee and joined Katharine’s national tour as a back-up singer.
She has also won the Adult Contemporary Vocalist and Best of Show at Gospel Music Association’s Music in the Rockies competition. Following that victory, she was asked to perform at Disney World’s Night of Joy, a Christian-themed music celebration.
 
Her subsequent travels have taken her to venues throughout the United States and abroad, and she has shared the stage with such talents as trumpeter Rick Braun and guitarist Matt Marshak. While touring with Katharine McPhee, Crystal appeared on The Tonight Show, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Regis & Kelly, The Today Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Live, among others.
 
Internationally, she has traveled to Mexico, China, and most recently, the Caribbean Islands.  In 2020, Crystal formed her own on-line vocal school business and currently has a full roster of students of all ages.
 
Crystal also had the honor of opening for Evelyn Champagne, Peaches and Herb and several other 1970’s icons for a a tour in New York recently. With Khris Dodge, she has co-created several shows, including “To Ella, With Love” and “Hot Stuff: A Symphonic Tribute to Donna Summer, ” “First Ladies of Song,” and their latest creation, “Whitney Houston, the Evolution of an Icon” premiered in the Spring of 2020.
