Sign up NOW for this fun day in Sabino Canyon on Friday, November 22nd. Rotary In The Canyon will take the place of our lunch meeting on Wednesday, 11/20/19. Sign up on our website www.tucsonrotary.org and scroll down the left side to "Upcoming Events". Here you will see (2) two registrations for the Canyon, one for 10:00 a.m. TRAM Ride and one for the 11:00 a.m. TRAM Ride. Click one that is best for you and register. Be sure to register your guest as well for $30 which will be billed to your account. If you will be hiking to the picnic area from the Visitors Center and not using the TRAM, please call the office and let us know. We still need to have you in the count for the meal. The brand new, state-of-the-art electric trams will be taking you to the top of Sabino and bring you back down to the Cactus Picnic Area, about .5 miles from the Visitor Center. Here you will enjoy a full lunch from Mike Hultquist and Lerua's/El Torero Mexican food along with a College of Science faculty member, Kevin Bonine, who will provide an interpretation of some of the desert animals.
So, register now, take Friday afternoon off; bring your spouse and friends and enjoy Sabino Canyon! We recommend sunscreen, hats, long sleeve shirts, tennis or hiking shoes and lots of fun!
